WILMINGTON — The Recreation Commission discussed spring programs and facility changes. Three of five members attended the February 5 meeting; absent were C. Michael Burns and Karen Martin.

Recreation Director Brett Sawin will present the FY2027 budget on Saturday with salary increases as the only proposed additions. The commission reviewed upcoming day trips and overnight excursions, including the Andy Cooney Irish Celebration and Tall Ships in July, which sold out. Tiny Tots/Kids Club will temporarily relocate to the old Town Hall for two summers due to construction at the North Intermediate School.
