WILMINGTON — Commissioners for Wilmington's Department of Elder Services discussed expanded programming and community feedback mechanisms. The popular Lunch & Munch program, which serves 45 to 50 seniors at maximum capacity on Tuesdays, will expand to include Thursday sessions beginning September 17. Commissioners reviewed proposed questions for a community survey on senior center services, with staff recommending distribution through the town website, Facebook, and to home-delivered meals recipients.
The center will launch its first Community Resource Fair on September 23 and will re-offer the six-week Powerful Tools workshop starting September 30.
