Armando "Arnie" Aprile, 93, of Wilmington, died on July 1, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Betty" Aprile (Pendergast); his sons, Ronnie Aprile of Wilmington and Bobby Aprile (Patsy) of Maine; grandchildren Thomas Aprile (Jessica), Jonathan Aprile (Marianne), Daniel Aprile (Kristen), and John Aprile (Leanne); nine great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Jean Ferrara (Michael); and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Visitation was held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, July 6, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the same location, followed by burial at Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington. Memorial donations may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168, per the family's wishes.
