WILMINGTON — Director Brett Sawin reported spring facility openings and summer recreation programs at the April 2 Commission meeting. Yentile field opened March 20, natural grass fields open April 3, and pickleball courts opened March 19 at 121 Glen Road. The Commission cancelled a planned MGM Casino trip due to low enrollment and discussed other upcoming trips to Holyoke, New York, and South Dakota.

Summer staffing for town recreation programs appeared largely secure, with roughly half of returning employees confirming participation.
