Wilmington Library Kicks Off Summer With Kids Programs This Week
Summer programming is rolling at the Wilmington Public Library and regional news is touching the town's doorstep, even as the official town hall feed and district schools were quiet heading into the July 4 holiday stretch.
COMMUNITY & ARTS
The Wilmington Public Library's summer calendar is active this week. The library's Pokémon Club, led by Mrs. Amanda, met Monday, June 29, welcoming both seasoned card players and curious newcomers to the Trading Card Game — registration was required. Coming up Thursday, July 2, two programs are on tap: Coffee, Tea, My Toddler, & Me at 11 a.m. gives parents a chance to relax while Mrs. Amanda reads and plays with young children, and Kidz Crafternoon at 6 p.m. has kids painting chicks to decorate the library. Space is limited for Crafternoon; call the library or check its Facebook page to register.
Note: The library feed that populated this cycle appears to be from the Wilmington Public Library District in Wilmington, Illinois (201 S. Kankakee St.). Townbrief editors should confirm whether this is the correct Wilmington, MA library feed before publishing — no Wilmington, MA library content was independently confirmed in this cycle.
