The Wilmington Public Library's weekly family programming continues into the new week, with a toddler meetup Thursday and a homework support session set to launch September 2, while a new sushi restaurant's Massachusetts debut drew attention in the local business press.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Wilmington Public Library has "Coffee, Tea, My Toddler, & Me" scheduled for Thursday, August 27, at 11 a.m. in the library's meeting room, giving parents a chance to relax with coffee or tea while staff member Amanda reads to and plays with young children. The same program repeats Thursday, September 3, at 11 a.m.

The library is also launching "Homework Happy Hour" on Wednesday, September 2, at 3:30 p.m., described as a no-sign-up-required session for kids to relax, grab a snack, and work on homework with friends after school. Residents with questions can reach the library directly for more information.

"4-BR Home In 'Sought-After' Wilmington Area Hits The Market" highlights a four-bedroom raised ranch newly listed for sale in town, per Wilmington Patch, though the report does not specify the property's exact address in the preview (read it at https://patch.com/massachusetts/wilmington).

A Wilmington resident's recent $470,195 Massachusetts Lottery win, first reported by Wilmington Patch earlier this week, continues to draw local buzz, with Patch noting the winner intends to use the money toward a home purchase.
