Wilmington Planning Board tables food truck vote after failing to establish quorum at its June 2 meeting. The board approved two routine items, including the Morganti tree farm special use permit at 286 Route 62, where the applicant planted 800 trees on roughly two-thirds of the parcel, and a family two-lot subdivision on Bonneville Road that will convey two four-acre lots to the sons of owner Cliff Holzer from a 23-acre parcel with a clean wetlands determination from the Acton Planning Authority. The board then could not act on a food truck site plan for applicant Tony Nicanola, who seeks to operate a breakfast-and-hot-dog truck in the lower parking lot of the Hungry Trout restaurant on the site formerly occupied by McDougal's; with one member attending remotely and ruled ineligible for quorum, the board was deadlocked and tabled the item to July 7.
Nicanola, who said he holds a health department food truck license and is "ready to open tomorrow," was told his temporary permit has expired and he must wait 30 days.
