Wilmington Planning Board closes subdivision hearing, tables Hungry Trout food truck review.
Planning Board · Meeting of July 7, 2026
Wilmington Planning Board closes subdivision hearing, tables Hungry Trout food truck review. At the July 7 meeting, the board unanimously closed and approved a public hearing on a two-lot, four-acre residential subdivision after hearing drainage and forestry concerns from Dan Flanigan of the neighboring Wolfe Camp Trust, who submitted a seven-point letter asking that stormwater protections be formalized as conditions of approval. A second abutter, Joseph Peters, said existing drainage infrastructure from a prior owner made the plan workable.
The board then tabled an unfinished site plan review for a food truck at the Hungry Trout restaurant after the applicant failed to appear for the second time; one member said the no-show indicated the applicant "wasn't serious about it." Members debated whether the town's land use code, which requires a full site plan review even for temporary food trucks, was well-suited to seasonal operations, and a public commenter named Wendy suggested referral to the town council to create a seasonal permit pathway.
